The exclusive Death Stranding for PlayStation 4 came in second place for the first time in the UK game sales list.
Death Stranding is the second PlayStation 4 exclusive after Days Gone, but the game's sales rate was 36% lower than that of Days Gone when it was released. Everyone knows that Death Stranding is Kojima's first new game since Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released in September 2015 and was the most successful game in the Metal Gear Solid series to date.
Going back to the UK game sales table, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sits on the No. 1 list for the third week in a row, which is expected and controversial.
Luigi Mansion 3 has fallen to fourth place after it was in second place and this is due to two factors, the first is the entry of Death Stranding to the list, and the second is the low turnout rate of the game by 59%.
As we can see in the table below, the upcoming Need for Speed: Heat ranked fifth, one of three EA games on the list. Ranked 10th. Nintendo's new Mario & Sonic At The Tokyo Olympic Games is now in eighth place.
Here is a table of the top 10 games currently in the UK.
