We previously told you that Cyberpunk 2077 might contain a performance mode on Xbox Series X, and then we said that we do not know if the team will release a similar update that brings the performance mode to the Playstation 5 as well.
Now that this game has become available to a large number of media professionals, answers began to spread about our pending questions. Today, for example, the Video Games Chronicle website tested the PlayStation 5 version, and of course we mean the one that works by pre-agreement on it and compares it with the computer version for which the evaluation code was obtained.
The site marvelled at the level of fees on the PlayStation 5 and how it approximates those of the computer, especially since it is not a copy dedicated to the PlayStation 5 after it will be released next year. At the same time, it was mentioned that the number of elements shown on the screen in the scenes, whether secondary characters or cars, is less in the PlayStation 5 version than in the computer version.
Also, the misfortune does not compare to that in the computer version, especially the one that has high-end hardware. As for the performance, it was mentioned that the game works on the PlayStation 5 at a speed of 60 frames per second, but it seems that there are no two graphic styles as is the case in the Xbox Series X version, there you can choose between a performance mode at 60 frames and another for clarity, giving you higher precision but with reduced frame speed.
Finally, it was mentioned that he played the PlayStation 5 version with the update of the first day, although there are still some errors and he suffered from a sudden suspension of the game.
Below, you will find a comparison of pictures between the PlayStation 5 and PC version with the RTX 2070 card with max settings and medium-light tracking:
