Reveal the details of the Shifting Tides of Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft has announced all the details of the fourth season of Rainbow Six Siege in Operation Shifting Tides, the final season of the game. The announcement was made during the Pro League finals in Tokoname, Japan.


Season 4 is called Shifting Tides and the season also features new content as well as some updates and fixes for some bugs found in the game basics.

This part introduces two new characters to play: Indian striker Kali and Kenyan defender Wamai. These two belonged to the private intervention company Nighthaven. Kali owns and leads this company, while Wamai is the number one merchant and favorite.

Kali has a CSRX 300 sniper that can penetrate barriers and stacks with a single throw and comes with an explosive device installed under the LV Explosive Lance, which destroys all devices on both sides of the fortified and destroyable surfaces.

As for Wamai, he comes armed with an electronic targeting system that disables the effect of the Mag-NET magnet, which can attract enemy projectiles and make them explode in place. Wamai can make attackers' grenades and shells ineffective and even turn them against their users.

In addition to the new customers, players will be able to explore the redesigned “Entertainment City” map, which is back with a complete renovation. The railway pier was removed and the eastern and western sections were rounded to each other. Within the building, the eastern part has evolved considerably, mainly in the basement area.

The locations of the gargoyles and the inhabited dining room have been replaced by the throne room and the armory. The new “pumpkin chamber” in this area has become the main entrance, while the “corridor entrance” has become blocked.

As some post-launch operators celebrated, Ubisoft reduced the prices of Hibana, Echo, Dokkaebi, Vigil, Zofia, Nomad and Kaid.

The test server for Shifting Tides starts on November 11. The test server is an alternative version of Rainbow Six Operation Siege which allows players to test the upcoming gaming features to be released for the main game itself. As this is a testing environment, it is not guaranteed to have a coherent gaming experience on the test server. We invite players to submit problems on the test server to the R6 Fix platform. It is worth mentioning that the test server is exclusive to the PC.
