Mario Kart Tour players on Android smartphones have been warned to update the game with the latest available version, version 1.2.0, which will cause them to be unable to play the game anymore.
In the latest details, developer DeNA says it is "now investigating" the problem of game failure on Android phones and more information will be announced later.

Mario Kart Tour 1.2.0 is currently experiencing system problems on Android devices as after installing a good update users will not be able to continue after Nintendo's initial logo screen. Please do not update to version 1.2.0 to avoid this problem.
The new update was supposed to add controls, a new ticket screen and a new bonus for players and also add new tours, a new track, and additional content that the player must unlock, and the development company DeNA has announced that the next major event of Mario kart tour is Winter Tour and will start on November 19 th A month.
DeNA will conduct a test of Mario Kart Tour in the collaborative play phase in December, and the company announced that it will be limited to the participants in the paid Gold Pass version.
