Observer System Redux was one of the games that launched as launch games for PS5 and Xbox Series X, where the Bloober Team had promised to provide it as an upgraded version with a new look that supports 4K resolution with 60 frames per second with better graphics than we saw in the original game in 2017.
But after the launch, it was found that the PlayStation 5 version has better features than Xbox Series, not only adding support for DualSense technologies but even with the quality of the graphics. As a recent report mentioned that when going to the game settings on Xbox Series X, you will notice that there is an option that enables you to enable or disable 4K resolution.
Enabling it allows you to get a nicer image with sharper graphics, but this is at the cost of frame speed. In the PlayStation 5 version, there is another option is to activate light tracking, which gives you better reflections. For example, the reflections of neighboring buildings will appear on water spots on the ground, and you will also be able to see a reflection of your personality on the mirror or glass panels inside the building.
Returning to the Xbox Series X version, it was discovered that there is no tracking of light in it, and by comparing the images of the two examples with the previous paragraph, it was noted that there are no same reflections in the Xbox version.
Not only that, but even by comparing the performance of the game in terms of tire speed, it was noticed that the PlayStation 5 version excels here, even with the activation of light tracking, the tire speed is better than the Series X version, in which a tire drop occurs, especially when it enters the basement. But we don't know if the team will release an update later to add light tracking and improve frame rate performance for the Xbox version or not.
