We told you last week that Nintendo Switch games control UK disc sales due to the absence of huge releases and the continuation of the great momentum around the home-mobile device. Now, Hitman 3 has come to change the situation.
GFK Charts has announced that the popular hide-and-seek game has been the top-selling of Uk discs, an increase of about 17 percent over the previous version.
It was surprising to see the PS5 version makeup about 49 percent of the game's disc sales, followed by the Xbox version by about 27 percent, and finally the PS4 version by about 25 percent. As you know, this is just about pill sales.
IO Interactive has confirmed that Hitman 3 is the largest digital launch in the series as a whole.
Of course, the 47th client's arrival in the first place means Animal Crossing: New Horizons slipped to second place – although the difference was only 800 copies.
Apart from that, PS5 games saw a marked increase in sales as new devices were available in the UK market last week.
Sales of Spider-Man: Miles Morales rose 161 percent on a weekly basis, jumping from 12th to fifth place.
Demon's Souls also re-emerged on the top 40 games after also seeing a 291 percent increase, enabling it to settle for 27th place.
Overall, sales of PlayStation 5 game discs increased by about 324 percent, when compared on a weekly basis.
